When it was time to move her daughters from cribs to beds, the first accessory she purchased was children’s bed rails. With a newly decorated room, she couldn’t help but notice how the bed rails detracted from the look of the bed as well as stood out awkwardly in the bedroom. With a passing thought of ‘wouldn’t it be nice to cover up these bed rails’ the concept and the company Kover-Ups was created. With three patented design options and select colors and patterns to choose from, children can now be protected by their bed rails as well as surrounded by a decorative cover.

Barrie is married with twin daughters. In addition to Kover-Ups, she enjoys wii bowling with her family, tossing balls at her dog Casey and taking long walks.
